These are the four types of clients:
The A client –
- You get along very well
- They love their results
- They pay on time
- They refer other clients to you
- You love working with them
The B client –
- You get along with them
- They like their results
- They pay on time with reminders
- They sometimes refer clients
- You like working with them
The C client –
- You get along with them about half the time
- They don’t work often enough to see results but blame you
- They are often late on paying even with reminders
- They don’t refer clients
- You tolerate working with them (for the money)
The D client –
- You don’t get along with them/argue with them/won’t do what you say
- They don’t see results because they don’t work out often enough and blame you
- They are constantly late even with reminders
- They don’t refer clients
- You get a stomach ache working with them but feel you have to for the money
There are many combinations to this list but you get the general idea. Keep A and B clients and get rid of C and D clients as soon as you can. They are toxic.
Also, treat A clients like royalty as they can grow your business with people who are just like them, usually.
